I found a recipe that calls for a "clump" of butter

I did a quick net search & yahoo search but nothing came up.

How much do you suppose a clump is?

How much would YOU use if you wer emaking this recipe.

  1. I'd use a tablespoon of butter.  No special reason other than a teaspoon wouldn't be big enough to be a "clump".  It would be more of a "dab".  :-)

  2. about a tablespoon or so.
