  1. All vegetation debris, tree limbs chipped included. You make a heap, turn it every 4/5 days , water it down, check the temperature since it has to reach 60º Celsius so it burns all seeds and weeds. But don't let it burn! You'll have to add manure from any type of animal along the way to balance the PH. After 3 weeks, you should have nice potting soil, free and safe. You can even compost dog's p**p the same way, however, you'll use it for flowers and non-edible plants.

  2. At my old house we had a compost pile. We would throw egg shells and old veggies and grass clippings in it. then they would decompose and we would mix it into the dirt to make it more rich....Compost

  3. Compost is a mixture of decayed organic matter and by composting we can do conservation of biodegradable solid wastes like animal excreta, spoiled or left over food, vegetable and fruits, garden litter e.t.c.

  4. It is the product of a controlled decomposition of organic debris in a soil.  The organic (vegetative) debris is consumed by microorganisms and other life and converted into the fundamental nutrative compounds, making the soil a good medium for future growth of plants.  Basically it is a fertilized soil that you have made fertile using your organic wastes and natural decomposition.

  5. Compost is decomposed organic material.  You can take vegetable peelings or scraps, put them in a pile with some dirt between the layers, keep moist, but not wet and it will turn into compost.  It is good soil for your garden or whatever.  You can also buy bins to make it in, make it with worms, and buy nitrogen to make it faster. Don't use meat or grease.

  6. its like manuwer to help your crops grow
