What is a conditional job offer?

I was asked to come into a place for a conditional job offering? What does that mean?

It means you may or may not ultimately get the job depending on what their "condition" is.  Like when you can start, a class that needs to be completed, a pending graduation. Or you could be with a group of hires and they are just narrowing down the group and you have to complete certain applications, meetings, training processes, tests. -stuff like that.
