Does this mean it is motored and can be equipped with sails? Or that it has an enclosed bridge whose top can be removed?

  1. Many sailboats have engine. It can be a handy thing if wind drops. But there are huge differences between hull shapes of motor yachts and sailboats. You can compare sails on a motor yacht with towing an elephant. In spite of all there are some rare exceptions

  2. I have been working in yachting industry for a decade but never heard of convertible. As much as Google spat out it could be as you foresee - enclosed flybridge. But non-rigid cover is rather called bimini or awning, and solid ones T-top, Hardtop or Radar arch. High solid structures over flybridge on a small boat can be a stability issue. Also people like to use it for risky jumping overboard. (After a bottle or two Supermans arise...)

  3. It refers too the super structure design on a power yacht. i think it means that it has a soft top. It usually can be removed for going through low overheads.
