What is a cool and original birthday gift i gan get for my boyfriend?

he is going to be 22 and i have absolutely no idea what to get him...he says he wants a PS3 and a HD widescreen TV but theres no way i can afford that! help me please!

I agree with the others who said--food, good company maybe cinema of his liking, a few more on DVD to keep, and so on. You are the greatest gift every day of the year. I hope he knows that, even if he can't say it.

Make him a card or an e-card (using Flash MX or something) that looks like a widescreen tv

Take him out for a date completely on you!  Have dinner, see the movie of his choice, do his favourite activity that you usually don't like to do with him and wear a hot little outfit the entire time.

For something more intimate invite him over and play "server".  Go to a costume shop a get a French maid outfit or some hot little item.  Maybe even get him an outfit.

Coupons for kisses and back rubs, plus a homemade cake/desert (or from an instant mix).

Well mine is quite quirky and 'cool'.

For mine I got some empty jars of jam and filled them up with different layers of sweets. And tied some multicoloured sweets with some ribbons.

I agree with what the other person suggested: making dinner and dessert.

My boyfriend just turned 22 in June and he wanted rock band... no way in h**l i'm spending $200 or more on stupid video games!

But I paid attention a few times that we went out that he always wanted to get Surf n Turf (steak and shrimp or crab or lobster) but that it was always so expensive.

So me, being the chef I am, bought him the nicest steak price chopper had ($10 for 8oz) and a 8 oz lobster tail ($20). I seasoned the steak and grilled it medium rare, and broiled the lobster tail with butter.

I served it with garlic mashed potatoes and corn (his favorite vegetable).

A few hours later when he thought he would be able to eat dessert (lol the dinner was more than a pound of food) I served him a piece of dark chocolate mud cake with ganache and whipped cream. He loved it, but he was too full to show me how grateful he was til the next morning ;-)

Men love it when their women cook for them, it shows them that they care about them are pay attention to their likes and dislikes... and some men get turned on by the whole "woman in the kitchen" stuff.

If you're not safe in a kitchen lol, why dont you rent a nice hotel room for a night? Do the whole romantic thing, maybe buy a nice piece of longerie from Victoria's secret or something naughty from Fredericks of Hollywood or maybe a s**y costume (if he's into cheerleaders or school girls). Have fun with it!
