What is a cool used first car?

A Manuel is a easy thing to learn, so I wouldn't dismiss that so easy.  Something cool under 8,000... I am currently looking for a Jeep Wrangler for about that price, I think they are awesome, but it's not something you want if you are not the outdoorsy type, or if MPG is a huge concern.  You could possible find a good mustang for 8,000.  If I was looking for a sporty car for long commutes I would get a Mazda 3.  An old Ford F-150 is "cool" no matter who you are.  In the end try to find a car you personally like, and will enjoy, and forget about what others say.

I would recommend a nissan 240sx it is in the 5k range and most of them are automatic(its a sports car by the way) It all depends on  what you think is cool too....

well you want my input.......get a used Ford Crown Victoria P71.......fast, built like a brick **** house and they last forever. But there a big car, not a neon or civic. Good on fuel too for the size!

that depends on your idea of cool. Me, I prefer to roll ol pimp style. Get an old Cadillac, something from the 70s or even 60s.  If mpg and reliability is number 1-2 than you have to stay with an old Honda or toyota, these are nice cars but kinda boring. No character!!  But rollin up in a 1966 Cadillac? That's daddy.... Older Trucks are cool as well, like a chevy C10 from the 70s. Of course if older cars are not an option, just stay with those Cutey little rice burners, they make great first cars
