I right "dont touch my ballz" on all my balls. Once I saw a little asian man find a ball and laugh uncontrollably. I had lost a ball on that hole so I'd like to think it was mine.

Just make the marking distinctively yours so there will be no mix up. If you really want to be different use multiple marking pens on the same ball.

Fill in the dots in a way the means something to you.  There are 3 people in my family (Wife and Son + me) so I use 3 dots in a row at an angle off the number on the ball.

The first ball I tee off with is the #3's from the pack and I but a little "B" next to the 3.  for B cubed.

When I am playing and I get stressed in tournaments I look at the ball and it reminds me of my little 2 year old son and it makes me smile - takes the stress off.
