  1. Some restaurants let you bring your own wine but charge you a "corkage fee" for the privilege.  They pop the cork for you and charge you $15.00.  Bon apetit.


  2. Its a minor fee a restaurant charges if you bring your own bottle of wine or champaigne. The waiter will properly chill the bottle before opening. It as done as a courtesy for people with good bottles of wine or regular patrons.   P.S.  You wouldn't bring your own steak and ask them to cook it.

  3. yes... it's when you bring your own bottle and the restaurant opens it, pours it and supplies the glasses.  the usual fee is $10 per bottle.
