  1. The hand/foot print would be fun/.cute.

    OR

How about some "finger painting" where you paint their hands & press them onto a photo mat or something that you will have as a keepsake.

I life crafts that you actually use & save. You will have to help the kids with the painting/pressing of handprints but I bet they will like the feeling of the paint on their hands. You can press them down on the photo mat in various patterns.

Check Hobby Lobby OR JoAnn fabrics for more ideas ~ Good Luck & have fun ~ I love that you are doing crafts with your kids ~ I can't wait :)

  2. I have a Halloween craft I did last Halloween with my daughter when she was 10 months old.

Take a sheet of construction paper (orange or black). Then place your baby's (and 4 year old's) foot into some white paint. Place foot on center of paper. Then, turn your sheet of paper over, so that the footprint is facing downward with toes toward the bottom. Using a black felt tip pin, make eyes and mouth on the heel of the footprint. Viola! A ghost!!

We went all out, and made enough for the grandparents as well. We used that heavy brown wire and sewed it around the paper. It came out looking great!

I plan on doing it with my daughter again this Halloween, where she will be almost 23 months.

  3. shapes are also a good thing to try, like cutting half of different fruits and vegetables up and get different colour paints and just supervise all the time, : )

  4. GET A HUGE PEICE OF PARER PUT THEM IN THE DRIVEWAY IN DIPERS AND GIVE THEM PAINT
