  8. Basically, a creche is a place where parents/carers/user groups leave their children for a few hours a day to play with other children while being cared for by experienced childcare workers. These premises are checked over for safety and the workers vetted. The people who run the creches provide safe and stimulating play equipment so that the child will be able to play in a safe environment and the parent will also feel safe in the knowledge that their child is in safe hands

  10. In England a creche is generally a place that parents can send their child now and again for example so work places have a creche where if the parents 'nanny' or the normal childcarer cant have the child they can last minute take their child.

    It's basically like a pre-school/nanny for early years children  but without OFSTED inspections, planned curriculums etc.
