  1. Eyes: Choose a neutral eyeshadow with a bit of shimmer.  Neutrals are great to have in any makeup collection.  Because you can pair that one color with almost anything that you already own.  Next, choose a nice brown eye liner (think chocolate brown) to enhance the shape of your eye.  Only apply the eye liner on the top, not on the bottom.

Face: Go with a tinted moisturizer.  This will help to moisturize the skin, but lightly even out your skin.  I recommend a tinted moisturizer because it's totally goof proof.

Lips: Pick a nude lip gloss.  All of my lip glosses come from Origins.  Origins lip glosses come in two varieties: sheer and ones that deposit more color.  My favorite color is called Sheer Raspberry.  It's a nice, punchy pink color that isn't too over powering and great for any look.

  2. I like having a really flawless face and I use white shimmery pwder on my lids and inner corners and mascars and a light pink lipgloss my coloring is the same as yours so iy will look good be sure to use a blush or bronzer so you dont look washed out though!

  3. keeping it simple is always better :D

a flawless, glowing face is always nice (:

a light tinted moisturizer like MAC select tint will even out your face.

thenn some highlighter for above your cheek bones, then some blush on the apples of your cheeks (:

for your eyes i'd just use some mascara and some brown eyeliner, nothing too heavy.

  4. Hey,

Whatever you do, please be yourself! Don't ever wear a style, except maybe to try it out first in your room, if it isn't you. It will be obvious to people when it goes against your personal and style dosen't work. Please don't ever go along with something just because the magazines say it's what's "trendy" "in" etc. (Magazines, though can be great sources of ideas; tear out what things you see and like and start a folder of things to try. Experimention is so important. You don't have to spend a fortune either, as garage sales and libraries almost always have magazines and, in my opinion, the best looks are the classic, timeless ones -as opposed to the ones that look cool and new but have appeals that last all of 15 minutes.)

I know that it can be hard to find your own niche, which is probably why you are asking, right? (I, luckily, wasn't really worried in this way [in retrospect I do wish at times I had been more self concious about makeup in high school... Goth/Punk stuff that I wore...hehe] as I have been involved in theater [which entails stage makeup normally] all my life and had fairly liberal parents.) As I said, magazines are good and experimentation, with creativity and open-mindedness, is key. Also, department stores often have free make-overs/ demonstrations where they match your colors with skin tone, eyes, etc. (since they want you to buy something, but you don't have to) and those can be really useful, too.

    Hope this helps,

    Cailin

  5. A nice look is to not use a lot of foundation but focus on accentuating an aspect of your face such as your eyes or lips.  For example, you can use bright coloured eyeliner or coloured mascara.  It isn't as bold as eye shadow but gives a funky edge to your look.  Or can have bright lips (reds etc) but don't do both at the same time - it can be overpowering.

    Have fun!

  6. You can do a sun kissed look

       1. Break the foundation first rule and start by applying concealer to any obvious blemishes.

       2. Apply a little tinted moisturizer all over your face to give a light sheen.

       3. Take a tawny-brown or browny-pink blusher and apply this very lightly to the apples of your cheeks, the tip of your nose, the tip of your chin and around your hairline.

       4. Apply a shadow with a little shimmer in it to your eyelids. Good colors for this include golds, bronzes, brown or black mascara.

       5. Know that if you are a blonde or redhead, define your brows. Color on the face can make them disappear, so brush them lightly with some eyeshadow in the same shade or one tne darker than their natural color.

       6. Apply a shade of lipstick just one tone darker than your natural lip color. Now, brush over this lightly with a little frosted lipstick, shimmery pale shadow or lip gloss to create a light, sheeny look.

    Good Luck.

  7. I also have brown hair & eyes! Here's what I'd recommend:

    1) glittery eyeshadow in 'champaign' and 'peach' tones. I have a great one called 'All That Glitters' from MAC.

2)A bit of black mascara, just to give your eyes a bit of definition.

3)Have fun with your lips! try flavored lipgloss, nothing with too much color. I even found this site that lets you suggest lipgloss flavors! www.freewebs.com/glossip-lipgloss

4)Mabey a touch of bronzer, just to accentuate your summer tan!

    Hope that helps!
