  1. a ford ka, cheap to buy, low insurance, simple engine and still fun to drive.

  2. Peugeot 206cc or hatchbak

  3. This all depends on your budget to be honest.

I have a Smart ForFour 1.3 and love it. Bought it new and never had any issues. Very cheap to run.

My suggestion is find something that is 1.6 litre or less in size. You don't want to use too much fuel.

Also insurance is lower for smaller engine size cars.

  4. I've got a peugot 106, and I'm learning in it and its a lovely fun little car to whizz around. you want something that's def 1.4 or less or insurance will rip you off! Most of my friends first cars have been 106's, KA's, Fiesta's, Saxo's, Corsa's, Rover 200's, Punto's and stuff, your insurance will probs be around 1200 well thats what im quoted when i pass my test but u never know till you ask them, the best thing to do is just find a cheapish 1.2l car that doesnt need a lot of work. Use a car insurance comparison site to get a quote so you know round about how much it will be on different cars. Good luck and congrats on passing your test xx

  5. get a Fiat Punto or a Fiat Panda.

  6. Nissan

  7. Don't get a Ford or Mercury used car. I say go with any Asian car..Hyundai Sonatas are nice.
