  2. Here in the states most tables are 7 , 8 , or 9 footers. I recommend getting the biggest one that you can get and still have room to play on. You'll need about 5 feet all the way around the table in order to use it properly so just add ten feet to the dimensions of the table, for example 13 and a half feet by seventeen feet for a seven footer and so on. That gives you five feet all the way around it.So if you know the size of the room then you can figure how big a table you can get.I also recommend getting a good brand name slate table, anything else is pretty much just a waste of money. As far as tables in other countries, I know nothing about it.

  3. I'd advise you to get a 7ft X 4ft supreme winner:

If you don't mind it being secondhand,do what i did and get one from a tournament.

It will only be a few days old.As new condition.

From the tournament held at either Butlins at skegness, cleethorpes or reighton would be my suggestion.

    Reighton can even deliver.

If you find you can't get your cue in all the way round, get one of these:   http://www.bluemoonleisure.com/Nova%20Cu...

    Hope this helps.

  4. 4 ft x 8ft is the most common size for home use, although there are 4 1/2 ft x 9ft, 5ft x 10ft.

3 cushion (no pocket billards) tables can get to 6ftx12.

Oh yeah! Some well known department stores have 3 x 6ft.

    These are smAAAAAAll!

  5. Edit: My answer is about ENGLISH pool tables. All this stuff about a pool table being 9ft long and purple, that's provided by our American friends.

Eh? What's this cm stuff? *lol*

A full-size table is 7ft long, and ideally one that's as close to that size as possible is the one you want. For home use they are usually 5 6 and 7ft. You should try and get one with good cushions and a proper slate bed if you can, if you're at all serious about a decent game. It makes a heck of a difference.

Bear in mind the size of the room you're going to put it in though, right?? You need about a 6ft clearance all the way around the thing, otherwise you won't be able to use a full-size (57") cue when you're playing. (Although using shorter cues is OK, it's just not "perfect").

Here's a chart to look at, including room size information.

  6. sorry to lazy to do the converstion but what the others said about it being a 9 foot table... the larger tables are so much better.  and take IMO a lot more skill to be consistent

  7. 6' x 3' pool table (slatebed)

    the first one is 6' x 3.2'

    the second one is 6.2' x 2.6'

so the 1st table would be the best size

  8. I guess smaller in the UK but over here most serious tables are 9 ft

  9. PUB TABLE 6 FT 6 X 3FT 3 I THINK

    APPROX MEASUREMENTS LOL.

get an ol pub table-get on 2 brewerys-ask the dude who cleans the table at your pub-ebay-pub auction

    get  A SLATE BED!!!!

    NOT WOOD

all good pubs have a slate bed table-look at the company on the table-look on thier website.

a good table with the cashbox removed can be got for  ÃƒÂ‚£ 200 upwards -plenty 2 go around as not everyone has the room 4 em-loads are sat in warehouses up+down the uk.bet theres at least 5 on ebay>>>goes 2 look lol

ALSO TRY 2 MAKE SURE THE BALLS ARE PROPER POOL BALLS+NOT PLASTIC(BORROW 1 FROM THE PUB+WEIGH IT(CUE+8 BALL ARE DIFFERENT SIZE +WEIGHT-NOTE THAT(THAS HOW THE CUE BALL COMES BACK-AS IT FITS THRU THE RETURN RAIL WHERE A POTTED BALL CANT!
