    It is a valley (i.e. U or V shaped) with lots of trees in it.  Follow this link to see a picture of one.

  2. To me, Dell was always the company that makes computers....So when someone says a "dell", they are referring to a dell computer / laptop.

  3. I beleive that a "dell" is a small open valley surrounded by trees.  If it is actually wooded as some of your answers indicate.  the trees would be sparsely spaced and allow an under growth of grasses.
