well a desert rose is a crystal that looks like a spherical rose thats beige i wouldnt bother lookin for them i would just buy one from a crystal store

You're thinking of adenium obesum.  They're native to arid/semi-arid environments.  They can be ordered from any number of nurseries online.  In the U.S., they're considered an invasive species, being native to Australia and New Zealand, but having been imported to the U.S. and escaped cultivation.

A desert rose is also a type of selenite crystal that looks like a rose.
