Usually the entry of pathogens (disease-causing organism) does not cause any trouble. The real problem starts with there infestation and infection of the organism. Most if not all diseases are cause by microbial entry and proliferation. Some microbes are parasitic though there are other that are naturally occurring in our body. Say for example the entry of E. coli(a coliform as they are called)-a bacteria- will not cause any trouble unless they invade tissues and organs.

Please remember that not all microbes are harmful. only pathogenic organisms are harmful.
