  1. I'm not sure what your context is, but this usually refers to a company's or university's statement that they are accepting of people of different genders, races, backgrounds, abilities, etc.

    This may also refer to a Personal Statement that a student submits with an application to discuss the ways that they could contribute to the diversity of a campus.
