I'm wondering what the effects of using one is. There is one in the changing room of my local swimming pool. Thanks!

  1. It's a really hot room with no source of steam (aka, a steam room.)

Here's the routine. Take a hot shower. (don't bother soaping up) Go get in the sauna for as long as you can handle it... probably no more than ten minutes.

Take another hot shower, this time, soap up and wash your hair. When you've rinsed off, go into the sauna again. Stay as long as you can.

Come out, take another warm shower to rinse off the last of the goop that has oozed out of your pores, then do the sauna one more time....

Now.............. when you get out of the sauna, take a COLD shower. You can almost HEAR your perfectly clean pores slam shut. If it was winter, I'd say go roll in the snow, or jump in a freezing lake.

Pretend you're from Sweden and trust me, this is good for you.

  2. Like the first answer, the important thing is to take a cold shower when your finished to close your pores.
