  3. 2 possibilities, an amount of money you get paid every certain amount of time say every month for doing no work. Example: If you get paid 50$ a month every month for no reason. Or if you have the option to do it. Example: If you get paid 10$ for mowing the lawn but it is not mandatory to do it.
