What is a dvd or cd rip????????

on my dvd player sodtware on my laptop ---- windows media player and itunes, they allow you to 'rip' the dvd.... what does that mean?

This mean to copy that dvd video and save it into ur computer.

Like if u were ripping music from a cd to ur computer. It just means to copy those music from that cd into ur computer
