What is a easy way to remove a hardwired smoke alarm or what is the best way to cover it/block it?

I have a smoke alarm next to my boiler room and it goes off constantly because the heat. I tried to use saran wrap plastic grocery bags..like 3. and it still goes off. please help. and could you tell me what to do??

Could be as easy as removing the fuse, if it has one, or removing the power to it, cut and stow the power input wires, and then re-engaging the circuit breaker for that circuit.  By stowing I mean insulate the input wires so as not to have any accidental short circuits.
