What is a fair asking price for used Disney VHS tapes?

The cases are a bit worn but the tapes themselves play just fine and are in good condition. Just looking for opinions. Thanks.

  1. 7-10$ if they r old shows/movies ...like 13-14.50 if are new shows/movies

  2. Garage sales in Missouri get about $2.00 - $3.00 per tape

Check out e-bay and amazon.com for more prices

  3. i buy allmine at yard sales for a dollar sorry but people just dont buy them anymore

  4. 1-10 dollars?

    craigslist?

  5. To be honest, not much. There is little demand for VHS nowadays. I have been selling old video tapes on e-bay and I make very little on them if anything at all.

A popular disney video will maybe be worth 1-3 pound at most.

  6. nothing over $3 dollars man, everyone is using DVD's now adays. But you can raise the price on a really rare movie or something not that high though tops is probably like $10 dollars, nothing higher.

  7. Not much. If you go to stores that sell used VHS and Tapes and that, they are pretty cheep like $5 - $10 each.

If they were the original release and still in the plastic rap never before used, they could be worth alot as a collector, you depreciate the value SO much once you open the package.

If you have the original Little Mermaid that could be worth something, the original cover, had a p***s on it, where one of the castle spires should be, but when they re released it, this was changed.

  8. if they are collectables then you should range from 30-40 dollars. but if they are old tapes you dont want just sell them for a buck

  9. If you are selling them at a garage sale, I'd say maybe $1 a piece?

On ebay, you might get more, since people go on there searching for specific things. Older disney movies you might be able to get up to $3-4 for each. Unless you keep them for 25 more years, the VHS's won't hold their value.

  10. it depends if it is the tape "Song of the south" over 20.00 it is very rare

  11. 4-8 dollars deoending on condition of the box

  12. Unfortunately, VHS has gone the way of the old audio cassettes.

Not much call for them.   You might find some old baby boomers who would buy them for 2 or 3 bucks a piece.

    Good luck.

PS:  Might get more on eBay.
