What is a fair commission for a real estate agent in this market?

My wife and I live in Georgia and would like to put our house on the market to sell. Before I find a seller's agent, I'd like to know what would be a fair commission to agree upon. How can I leave the table with the most coming back to my wife and I?

Bargain hard.  Tell them you will be the easiest seller they have ever dealt with.  Agents worry that the hardest bargainers (about commissions) are the most difficult sellers. /
