Well I pay $10 for 2 hours after school everyday and that includes a snack or dinner, so $20 sounds about right. They don't need as much as a younger child.

I would charge about $20 each day...I watch a very young boy everyday from 8-4 and only make $25 a day.  He naps for 2 hrs so it's not that bad.  Just make sure to ask the parents to chip on any special occasion outings or if you take them to lunch.  That is the deal I made with my family and it works out great :)  We don't do special things a lot but sometimes it makes watching him easier.

$5.00 an hour is good.  I pay my sitter $8.75 an hour for 3 kids and she doesn't have to feed them.  (Only because I'm desperate.)
