What is a fair price?

My son's mentor (Big Brother/Big Sisters) will be picking him up from school and dropping him off at my mom's (she doesn't drive) house in the fall. I have a long commute and am unable to do so. This should take less than an hour of his time, but I understand the commitment may be an inconvenience. What do you think a fair price would be for his efforts? I am thinking $10–15 per day.

  1. I would talk to him, and tell him that you want to compensate him for his time and gas, and then agree on a price.
