  1. 5.00 an hour no more then that !

  2. My prices vary to what the parent can pay. I babysit a 3yr old and a 7yr old and she pays me $9/hr, or $7/hr for just one. I also babysit a 14mo old for 9hrs and she pays me $40/day. I would tell you to pay her at least $6/hr bc 4 yr olds are a handful.

  3. depending on how hyper the child is how much you use and trust the babysitter and how much that babysitter will be doing around the house i actually charge a dollor an hour a kid so one dollor an hour i dont know what the above was talking about if the child is extra hyper i would do two or three the more you trust a babysitter the more you should pay because you know they will be doing a good job also when you get home walk around the house if its clean add a little extra thats what i would say some people may want more just work it all out with the babysitter maybe do a trial run and like let them be in charge but just lock yourself in a room let the babysitter see how hard it would be i really think 10 dollors is waaaaaaaaaaay to much especailly for a teen thats more than minimum wage i mean come on

  4. $10.00 per hour basic. If she will clean or do extra or if she has a lot of experience and really good references then you may want to pay more, maybe $12.00 per hour. If it's a teenager then you might get away with $8.00 per hour.

EDIT: as you can see I said if it is a teen you can get away with $8.00. I don't know where some of you people live but $5.00 is NOTHING to pay for the safety of your child. You get what you pay for. if you want a crappy sitter who will sit and watch TV and ignore your kids then sure, pay $5.00. I wouldnever care for a child for that much. You have to take into account the experience education a person has and what their duties will be. If you drop your child off at the sitters you might pay less but $5.00 an hour won't even cover cost of gas for someone to come to your home!

  5. I pay my babysitter (who is 14) $5 an hour however all she does is watch my daughter and play with her no extra.  She doesn't even have to cook because I either have it ready or she is already fed.
