It is a famous childrens book I remember it has like a big brother and a little sister and they look similiar to like gophers or some kind of short little critter. Many main plot lines are dealing with childhood problems like trick or treating, selfishness or sharing. Main characters look like otters, or a beavers, or gophers, or hamsters.
