Hi! I'm italian and I write from Italy. Our most famous food are:

Lasagne, tortellini, ravioli, spaghetti with ragù sauce, chicken and potatoes roasted in oven, eggplant parmigiana,tiramisù and a lot of other recipes...

Ratatouille is a french recipe, gazpacho is a spanish recipe ; garlic bread and italian wedding soup (?) are not our specialities.

We don't eat "Spaghetti with meatballs", this isn't an italian tipical recipe.

I like fusilli pasta.  It's silly!  I also often buy farfalle, campanelle, rotini, tubini, penne, cappelletti, tortellini, ziti, rigatoni, capellini, and vermicelli to mix things up a bit.
