What is a famous painting that has a theme of hope ?

maybe some angels helping some one or some one accomplishing some major goal

i have ot write about it for school and relate it to the theme of a book

    You were probably expecting something a little more...cheery..? However, I think you'll agree that although it seems quite morbid at first the idea of hope in this painting grows on you.

    I searched long and hard for a painting and finally rested on this one because it's honestly quite hard to find one. The search was very fun though, lol.
