  1. My guess is that title would go to a niche (financial) news story writer for a general (non-finance) publication such as USA Today


  2. A financial correspondent is the fall guy for a scam being perpetrated on third parties. The fall guy sends the money  collected,minus a small finders fee, to the scammer, who then disappears leaving a fortune owed by the correspondent.
