  1. when you step on or over the serving line...

  2. when serving the ball if you step on the white line that is called a foot fault..... u can step on it after the ball has cleard the net!!!!!!

  3. Putting a foot on or past the line when serving.

  4. Well on the serve your foot cannot come in contact or cross the line until you have made contact with the ball.  That's what I know the rule to be.  Once I had a referee who called a fault when he thought any part of your body crossed the plane of the line.  I'm never looked into it so I'm not positive on that.

There is also a foot fault when you cross the mid-court line into your opponents court.

  5. It can be when your serving and you step over the line before you have hit the ball.

It can also be when your at the net and you cross over on the other teams side.

  6. It's when the server steps on the back line wile serving

  7. A foot fault is occurs when you are serving and you step on or over the line before making contact with the ball.  You can step on or over the line after the ball has been contacted.

When your foot goes over the center line it is NOT a foot fault.  That is an "under the net violation."

    I hope this helps.

  8. A foot fault in volleyball is when you put your foot on or over the line while serving.

It is different when you are up at the net. You can step on the line you just can step completely over it.

  9. In volleyball there are two ways to get a foot fault, one is by stepping on or over the serving line, and the other is having your foot completely on the other teams side of the net.
