  2. Beer and pot I belive.

  3. Milk and muesli for breakfast mostly, lots of veggies, lots of pasta, some fruit, chicken and fish for some extra protein and the occasional stake never did hurt anybody.

Their diet is about getting the carbohydrates and filling their muscles with glucogen, plus protein to support muscularity.

They obviously take supplements for energy and vitamins.

Exercise is done almost daily so it involves some sort of activity the driver likes so as not to get bored, most go for cycling, others like to run, swim, or all of the above.

They do some basic weight exercises to be able to withstand the g-forces and the rest of the weight program is about stamina.

They certainly train their necks with weights on a regular basis.

Some races are very hot so they sometimes train under hot conditions to replicate that.

They do take in lots of isotonic drinks to sustain performance.

When it comes to exercising there's a lot of variety involved in their programs, apart from a few muscle building exercises for legs and torso, the rest need not be as repetitive or the body will get complacent and the driver bored.

  4. I don't have the specifics but, I'm sure they can afford to have whatever they need to keep themselves up to the task.

The work outs must be fairly intense considering what they must endure pulling those 4g's in the heat.

  5. Depends on the driver but a lot of them are very fit. Jenson Button a driver for Honda even competes in triathlons and places fairly well.
