  1. Speed trap nothing but measuring the highest speed of driver on the circuit. it measured on a straight way on the track where it is believed the car can achieve max speed

  2. it is the fastest point on the circuit.  it generally is towards the end of the longest straight and just before the braking point.  the idea is to compare the fastest speeds amongst drivers.  it may mainly be a function of the engine/car that one is driving but sometimes also the set up (high or low downforce etc) that could determine who is highest in the speed trap.. no points or extra moolah for being the fastest though..

  3. it's a part of an F1 circuit that measures the speed of the driver as he goes through it.  it's usually a straight, as it is the fastest part of the track.

  4. ........

  5. it measures the speed of the cars, located at a certain point in a circuit where speed is maximum.

  6. ?

  7. Plenty of answers here about the tracks, cars, drivers, rules, etc.
