  1. the kicker must be behind his side's 40 metre line when he kicks the ball, which then must first land within the field of play before going into touch past the opponent's 20 metre line. Then the team that kicked it, gets the ball from the 20 metre line

  2. a forty-twenty is when a player kicks the ball outside their forty metre line (so, on their side between 0-40 metres) between the 0-20 metre line on the opposing side

  3. a meat pie you eat at the footy

  4. That is when the ball is kicked from inside your 40 metre line and goes over the sideline inside the oppositions 20metre line.

  5. Haha!!!

That's a good one, but you forgot to mention, overpriced meatpie!!!

  6. In NRL, to give the attacking side a reason to kick early in the tackle count, they introduced the 40-20 which means that the attacking team who has possession of the ball kicks the football from inside the 40m (red line) in their own half into the opposite 20m line in the other half and the ball must go out. If that happens, then the attacking side receives the football again for a repeat set which sets them up in the attacking zone.

  7. Actually its where the ball goes out not on the 20 metre line

  8. 4020 is the year sonny bill will be allowed to play in the NRL again. too soon for the sook

  9. a kick from inside your twenty goes out inside their forty not on a full and you get scrum feed
