Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs.  Philadelphia cream cheese doesn't stand a chance against this!

It's BOURSIN although some of the supermarket copies (sorry - "own brands") are well up to standard!

Laughing cow is very creamy and comes in a herb and garlic flavor.

There are lots of flavored cheeses...Laughing Cow makes some good ones and there's goat cheese. There's something else you can find in the deli section but I forget what it's called. Your grocery store should know.

Depends where you are shopping.  Garli is good from Liddle.  Just add a few more herbs.  Or buy some philli and add minced garlic and chopped herbs to it before stuffing.

philidelphia cheese with garlic and herbs - you will find it with cottage cheese etc in the local supermarket.

You can find flavored cheeses in the specialty cheese section - near the Brie.  They'll say if they're soft, or semi-soft   (NOT cream cheese.  The recipe would definitely specify if it called for cream cheese!)
