What is a fun reasonably priced Sweet 16 Party?

I need some ideas for what to do for my sweet 16 I don't have any fun ideas and i would like something a bit more fun than your average stand around hire a Dj so noone will dance type party. Thanks in advance :)

You can do a luau style party with beach music and beachy favors and decorations... people can where hoola skirts and guys can where cool hawaiin shirts... Bob Marley, Sublime music even Jimmy Buffett.   you can make it into a pretty crazy fun time.

Or you can do a pirate themed party or something like that.. .Good luck :-D

have a fashion show but the catch is that all of the outfits people submit have to be both made and designed by them and they can either ave someone else model it or they wear it and pick a winner

Go to your local roller skating/blading place.  You can usually rent equipment cheap, and they are open later at night.  Get cool/funky matching shirts and have a blast!!
