What is a funky unusual color scheme for a girl's bedroom?

I was thinking maybe lime green with black polka dots and then black comforter and stuff. I have dark hard wood floors in my room so do you think that would look right or no? Suggestions on color schemes would be amazing!

Vertical stripes. Colors: green (lime maybe?) red (light pinkish) white, I don't know...light colors
