  1. I've seen a ghost twice in my life. The first time, is when I was about eight years old.  It was at the apartment building in Chicago,  that I grew up in. One night, I fell asleep on the living room floor while watching tv. I woke in the middle of the night, and there was a man on his hands and knees, right next to me, on my side. He was staring at me, it was like he was trying to look inside of me, or trying to figure out what I was. Well, as soon as I seen him I covered my eyes and tried to scream, but no sound came out. Then, I uncovered my eyes, to look again, and he slowly, disappeared, right in front of my eyes. Many people, who have lived in that building, have claimed to have seen ghosts, or other strange things. The second time, took place when I was about 23. My husband and I moved to an apartment building after being married, about 4 months earlier. We had a cat at the time, and she had kittens. We kept them in the spare bedroom. We both came home together every day after work. But, on this day I ran up to the apartment while he was getting some things out of the car. I wanted to check on the kittens. As soon as I walk to the  spare bedroom, I see a man standing in the doorway. I could tell he was a ghost because you could kinda see through him.   He did the same thing as my first ghost as if he was trying to look inside me, or he was trying to find something inside of me. I did the same thing, I covered my eyes and tried to scream but nothing came out. When I looked again he slowly faded away. After many years of thinking about this, I wonder if maybe he couldn't see me as well as i could see him, and this is why he stared at me the way he did. These two men could have been the same man. It is hard to tell since it was so many years apart. I like to think that maybe, I knew him from another time, and he had come looking for me. I became pregnant with my daughter around that time, and I do wonder if maybe, whoever this man was, has maybe been reincarnated as my daughter, who is now 25. Because this was the last time I have seen him, and I have called to him telling him, and promised that I would try not to be so scared this time.

  2. I think the whole Ghost Hunting thing is BS, but I find it terribly entertaining.

  3. I think i am a ghost magnet. when i lived up in new york i had a ghost living in my room she would turn off my light and my tv and she would move stuff around in my room and arrage my stuffed animals into a circle. and when i moved to south carolina 5 years ago and to this day, there is a presence in my room, i wake up with deep scratchs on my body and bruises and my door opens for no reason same as my closet and when there is no air conditioning and my fan isn;t running my curtains tend to move like wind is blowing them. and at night when i try to sleep i hear whispers like right next to my ears, its a boy a teenager i can tell, and a few weeks ago the power went out and i went into my room to get candles and as i opened my door and looked in and i saw the boy laying on my bed he looked at me and vanished into vapors i smelled the smell of rosewood and cinnamin, there was an impression on my bed that showed he was there. i haven't heard much activity from him lately but i do know he is near me right now because it is very cold! the funny thing is i'm not even scared of him.

  4. I have witnessed all kinds of unexplainable sightings. I own a paranormal research team and the equipment is indeed calibrated and works very accurate.

There are many ways that prove they are real but accepting it is another thing. You see anything can be explained away if you want to bad enough, even personal encounters as those who choose not to believe can claim they had an illusion. I have nothing against anyone who doesn't believe they indeed have the right to believe what they want. And i do not have the right to judge them for it.

    have a great day

P.S. paranormal activity happens day and night. we ususally go out at night because my team work other jobs during the day.

  5. About a year before I had this encounter the man upstairs had killed himself. Anyways so one night about 3am I woke up and went to the kitchen to get some water. As I walked by the table out of the corner of my eye I saw a man with a swelled head sitting at one of the chairs. His head was heavy and hunched over. he was wearing a white dress shirt the was unbuttoned and when I turned to get a closer look he was gone....

  6. When I was 3...........  I was outside playing on my swing-set at my grandmother's house.  My mom said I was just laughing and having a good time.  But nobody was there or anywhere around me.  When I came inside after playing I told her that papa said hi to daddy.  My grandmother pulled the picture album out and I picked the picture of my grandfather out having never seen it before.  (my grandfather passed away when my dad was 2 years old)

  7. while i was watching tv this old guy just appeared out of nowhere in front of my wife and i,he walked across the room, stopped at the edge of the coffee table,, leaned over like he was giving us the once over, stood straight up turned around and walked away and just disappeared, there was alot of noise going on in this old 2 story cabin and i asked a guy about this and he said that the guy is probably just lonely so i should talk to him to acknowlege that he is there, so i started saying hello and things like that and the noise went away for the most part, one night my wife and i were down stairs and could hear what sounded like the kids coming down the wooden stairs, so we were waiting for a head to poke around the corner and nothing, so i went upstairs to tell the boys to knock off the tom foolery and they were snooring away, we had a young dog and the thing just died one day, so we gat another one and within a week it just died, then a wild cat just showed up and we have had her for 7 years, guess the old guy didnt like dogs,, anyway we have since moved but it was really wierd, and the thing is,, back then i didnt believe in that stuff,

  8. at my dads house when I was little I can remember sleeping on the couch and hearing change drop on the coffee table. No body else was there nor was there any change to be seen. My other sisters told me that they have heard it before when no one was around,

  9. Regarding the accuracy of the equipment, it's important to keep in mind that EMF (electromagnetic field) detectors don't detect ghosts -- they detect electromagnetic fields. Thermal imaging doesn't detect ghosts, it detects temperatures. These and other pieces of equipment are part of the paranormal investigator arsenal, but none of these pieces of equipment detect ghosts. Rather, paranormal investigators simply believe, for non-scientific reasons, that certain meter readings mean a spirit is present. How accurate is this? Well, as one might expect it's about as accurate as can be obtained from personal conjecture and untestable hypotheses.

Why do ghosts mostly come out at night? Because it's dark and spooky. It fits the mood. Ghost hunting in the broad daylight is no fun :)

  10. I saw a shadow person for a few seconds once.

  11. i have definitely never seen anything, but have felt their presence.

also, it is not uncommon to get a headache, dizziness, and nausea in 'high energy' spirit areas.

  12. I have had many experiences. Most recently I had gone on a ghost walk in Gettysburg. I was in the attic of The Farnsworth House. The guide was telling us stories & I was not really paying attention. When someone pulled my hair, not being mean but just a slight tug & I was sitting in the backrow. No one was behind me. The guide started talking about a little boy "Jeremy" who likes to pull hair & untie shoes. I was a little freaked out by this. I have also seen a shadow of a man standing in my living room. I was in the kitchen making dinner & my cats ran out of the living room. When I turned around to look at them there was a man standing there. It was like I was frozen for a minute but then he disappeared. I have also seen my grandfather recently who died when I was 7 yrs old. I always feel like I am being watched. But sorry for the long answer just wanted to share a few stories with you.

  13. My sister's flat in London was haunted.  I went to visit her and she told me stories of small items dissapearing and then reappearing in the most obvious places.  For an example, my nephew's pacifier would go missing and my sister would flip the blanket, shake it, and look all over and it would just be gone.  A few minutes later, it would be set dead center in the blanket she just shook!

I experienced this myself.  I had taken some medication and placed it in the guest bath.  After a day or so, it was gone.  Both my sister and I searched everywhere, for several days, including the guest bath.  I finally returned to the United States without it.

A day after I left, it was sitting right on the sink in the guest bath.  There is no way that all of us looking could have missed it.

All these events happened in the daytime, not at night.  We both had the impression that he was a prankster ghost, not malevolent.

  14. I know nothing about psychic eqpts. and haven't discussed my 'experiences' with any experts but I often wonder about things that have happened to me for which I can find no logical/scientific explanation. For the sake of brevity I won't go into detail:-

I have had one experience of actually seeing a 'ghost

I have had one frightening sensation of an 'evil' presence

I have had two 'out of body' experiences

I have had a number of deja vu sensations.

I have had a couple of premonitions

I have had a few dream revelations

I don't really believe any of these events defies explanation, but so far no one has come up with any answers. I have an unusually high IQ but my natural impatience to complete tests limits me to an average of around 145. I am hopeless at trivia  yet rarely forget important facts. Of course what is important to me.......blah  blah..

Maybe my weird attitude/mentality is in some way connected with the above 'strange experiences'. I am certainly not superstitious; in fact I am probably a 'doubting Thomas'.

However, should your researches  shed any light on these matters please let me know.

  15. When I was living in Las Vegas I was going to work one morning.  It was a very sunny morning, probably about 9:15AM.

For some reason I was looking up in the sky and I saw a silver disc.  I kid you not...I'm not crazy, and I know I wasn't drinking, drunk, high...TOTALLY NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE.

The disc was silver, bright like a brand new nickel.  It moved in a circular spinning pattern - and it seemed to hover in one place for a few seconds.  The whole incident seemed to last for minutes upon minutes...but I would guess it was no longer than 2.

I kept looking at the disc and then decided I should turn around and get my husband - someone else had to see it.

When I turned around it was gone.  No trail of smoke...nothing.

Now do I think it was an alien craft - no way...  Was it something I couldn't identify?  Yes.

I lived right near Nellis so who knows...

  16. I saw my grandmother.
