I think you mean gyno - a gynological exam - like when the doctor checks out your woman parts.

gyno exam is where they check your v****a, see if everything is alright.   you take your clothes off, you put on a robe, your doc will ask you to lay down on a bed and put your legs up on two metal foot rest above you.   Your doc will put on gloves, and insert two fingers in you while pushing with another hand outside of you to check your cervix and whatnot.   She will also probably do a PAP SMEAR, they take a q tip like thing and swipe the inside of your v****a and send it out for testing to make sure you dont have anything wrong (this is how they detect cervical cancer).     While you are there, your doc might check your breast by feeling around them for bumps.    

if you are sexually active, or over the age of 18 you need to see one.  Might be a bit embarrassing at first, but your health is way more important.  

EDIT:   Sweetheart, diabetes has nothing to do with your v****a!  If you are healthy your doctor will want to see you every 6 to 12 months.   If you have insurance, see which gynos take your type of medical insurance, or program, schedule yourself an appointment and go.

It's a pelvic exam you get at the gynocoligist.  They are looking inside your "organ"  to check and see if everything is healthy.  They actually have a special tool they shove in their called a speculum that holds it open so they can see inside

I don't think there is a gnyo exam, but there's a gyno exam, which is short for gynecology, which is women's health. As in, women parts. My mom works on the gynecology level at the hospital, and she takes care of patients with ovarian cancer and that sort of thing.

I think perhaps you have a typo. A GYN exam is done on the inner part of your v****a and also they do a breast exam. It is a Gynecologist doctor who spealizes in females only. They do a pap smear as well. I would think at 19 you would know.

Hmm someone doesn't pay attention in health =P well it's where a doctor goes up your v****a to study it and make sure everythings okay there and that it's okay to have s*x and stuff like that. It's also to make sure you don't have any STIs or diseases...
