  1. A golf clubhouse is a building in which golfers meet and pair up for playing golf.  It usually has a Small restaurant, and some meeting rooms.  It also has a Pro Shop, this is where the Professional Golfer has an office, there is a counter for golfers to sign up for tee times, there is golf attire and golf equipment for sale, and a place for golfers to record their scores.

Check one out at your near by golf course.  It is a good place to purchase gifts for your golfing friends.

  2. The clubhouse is the building that acts as the central hub of the course, its like the headquarters for the club, and will provide facilities for people using the course whether they are members or 'guest' players. It will usually have changing rooms, toilets, a bar and somewhere to get food. The more prestigious or expensive the course, the larger and more lavish the clubhouse. Depending on the club, some facilities may be exclusive - its not unusual to have 2 bars, of which one is for club members only.

The Pro Shop is the golf shop located at the golf course. It may or may not be attached to or in the clubhouse, but will sell golf equipment and accessories. The shop will generally be staffed by the club professional/s- he/she is a PGA-certified pro who will usually be an expert on equipment or teaching (or both).

  3. proshop has golf equipment and the staff running the joint. the clubhouse is the 19th hole
