What is a good, cheap digital camera to buy? Casio??

I am considering the Casio Z60......anybody know about these things???

i have a canon powershot and its great!!! in expensive and they work very well! it takes great pictures and has a lot of different settings that are very easy to use!

Kodak EasyShare. I don't know anything about cameras, but I am seriously considering that one because it is inexpensive and really easy to use!

Ive recently bought myself a Nikon "CoolPix" camera. It has been the most satisfying buy EVER!!! I carry it everywhere I go. It's small, has a big digital screen and has 8.1 pixels. I bought it at Costco with the "whole package" which includes a charger, battery, memory card, case and more! All for a mere $160. SO WORTH IT!

I would stay with canon,nikon or sony. I own a canon a-590 am very happy with it. Good beginers camera.

The Casio EX-Z60 is an old, discontinued model camera which was released over 2 years ago.

So, it SHOULD be cheap...and it might be good enough for your needs. Just don't expect it to be as good as a newer model (or better brand).

I have a Sanyo VPC-5500 which works great untill the battery gets low then it gets buggy where the zoom doesn't work and if you try to use it, it turns the camera off. Wierd I know but it is a 3x optic zoom, 4x digital zoom with 5 megapixals. And i only paid 100 bucks for it and the 1 gig card.

If you're looking for a camera and not be bothered by changing settings of say shutter speeds, you can buy a decent Canon camera for $100- to $110-....maybe a bit cheaper.

However if you want some control over your photos I'd go for the Canon A570 IS. It has manual controls in addition to auto.TriState Camera has it for $150- + shipping. 7 Megapixels, 4X optical zoom and has an image stabilizer for shaky hands.

i actually have a casio z-77 and i love it i like the picture quality very easy to use comes with battery and recharger...period is quality and simple :)
