  1. I think in your case, I'd go with either a Seagull Grand if you can find one (it's got a cedar top), a Little Martin or a Taylor Baby.  The reasons are simple - they're relatively inexpensive, and also they're what we call "travel guitars" or "3/4 guitars."

At age 14, you've got some more growing to do.  Spending cash on a full-size guitar isn't the best idea for young people, because it's going to be a little awkward to handle the instrument properly, let alone learn the necessary stuff on.  Don't worry about any of your classmates giving you grief about it, either - while they're all struggling to hold their full-size guitars, you'll be shredding away on a guitar that's more comfortable and suited to your size.

Let's face it - by the time you hit your growth spurt, you'll have learned enough to where you can step-up in guitar anyway.  The cash you save on buying one of the guitars I've mentioned will go a long way in buying a good electric guitar and amp setup for playing rock and metal like you really want to.  And when you get old enough to drive and want to take a guitar out for the weekend just to play on and fool around with - you can just throw your old travel guitar in the backseat and go.

    Hope that helps.  Keep rockin.

  2. I don't know, but if you get agood answer tell me about it! I'm tryng to do the same thing!:)

  3. I second the recommendation to look at Seagull guitars. (I play one). They are made well, solid wood (not plywood), and sound beautiful. And for not much $$$.
