What is a good, light hiking bag? Going to Costa Rica and trying to find something super light.?

Hiking bags is a personal choice.  However when you are choosing a hiking bag for Costa Rica consider something that is 100% water proof so it survives the heavy rainfall here, something with secure zips and a possible lock, something that can be thrown around and not break or tear, holds water bottles comfortably.

Remember Costa Rica has beaches, jungles and hills so you need to consider something durable and comfortable enough to last all the different eco zones.

When i go hiking i usually use my camelback(the bags with the water pouch and straw type thing) you can use the water pouch if you want but it can be removed.The bag provides space enough for a few items, its small though so i guess it depends how long you're hiking for and what you want to bring along.
