What is a good 800 time?

I am a girl who runs the 800 m and i was wondering what a good or average time in it would be

definately under 3:00 to be competitive...depends on age, division (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A), and other stuff like that.

The top girls in our league are under 2:30.

By the way, considering that the women's world record for the 800 is 1:53 I think the 8th-grader running 2:00 might be exagerrating a bit.

A good time in my area is around a 2:39. That will get you to districts where i live.

Under 2:45 is really good

top runner in our area who went to nationals is running around 2:10, a very good girls time though is anywhere from that time to 2:25

It really depends on your age. For middle school, a solid girls time for the 800M would probably be 2:40. I'm not sure about other ages though.
