I've never really done track before today in my gym class. I ran a 15 second 90 meter. I hear that 12-13 is about average for 100 meter, so I was thinking like 10-11 would be average for 90? Being my first time, I don't expect it to be the best.
I have a few other questions.
I'm already jogging about 3 miles daily with my gym class, then running a mile on weekends with my friend. I'm also doing weight training.
I want to know if there's anything I should be doing to increase my speed specifically. Any tips would be great, and a reachable but difficult goal is also what I'm looking for from you guys.
I also want to know if I should stick to just jogging daily, or if I should be running dashes every day too.
(I'm a 16 year old female, and about to start my senior year, so not a lot of time to improve if I want to do track, which I do.)
