What is a good Buell motor bike for rookies?

Just learned how to ride. Less than 4 hours of experience over the last 15 years.

I'm 6 feet 2 inches. I weight 213 pounds.

I do not want a crotch rocket.

I agree, if you want a buell the blast is the way for you to go

The Buell Blast is the most suitable Buell for beginners.

Since your not interested in the Super Sport or "crotch rocket" look, check out these other beginner bikes:

-Suzuki SV650

-Ducati Monster 620/695

-Suzuki VStrom 650 (may be a little too powerful)

-Kawasaki Versys (again may be a little too powerful)

If you do have to choose a sporty looking bike in the end, these are your best options:

-Kawasaki Ninja 250R, 500R or 650R

-Suzuki SV650 Sport

-Suzuki GS500F

-Hyosung GT250 or 650

A Buell Blast is too small for a guy whos 213lbs.  I would good toward the Japanese bikes or the HD Sportster 1200 (uses the same engine as Buell).

well, if you don't wanna crotch rocket, you don't need a buell, got to its Mother Company and look into The Harley-Davidson VROD..Very Nice
