What is a good GPS system for the car?

I would like to get a GPS system that has up to date traffic information. What features would you recommend? What is the best GPS system and also what is the best bang for your buck system?

Garmin or Tom Tom. I like Garmin. Tom Tom may have easier to view traffic conditions.

Tom Tom ... It has a very nice price tag to it, its very easy to operate and you can pick it u at your local Bestbuy

Personally  have the  Garmin 5000 and VERY happy with it. It does offer up to date traffic information as OPTION. That service comes from outside vendor and so must be subscribed to.

FYI Have two friends who both  bought Tom Tom and  both had issues requiring it to be returned for reprogramming. Perhaps this is corrected now.

best bang for the buck get the garmin nuvi 350.  u can find it on amazon for cheap that is where i got mine.  plus it's cheaper now than i got it a year ago.  it's good and cheap.  u can also get the one with bluetooth cnnectivity for more.  i think it's the 360.   but the 350 is good.
