What is a good GPS unit? I need one for travelling in Canada, USA & Mexico?

  1. I would say Magellan, they have the most comprehensive maps, however if you are going to be in Mexico, they only have maps for Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.  In my opinion the best planning tool would be Microsoft Streets and Trips, which can be transferred to some GPS's once you have planned your trip.


  2. I guess you can go with Magellan, even though they are expensive. IT depends also on the storage of the unit, how much data of maps it can store, and the features for them.
