What is a good Graduation gift for someone who is graduating Navy boot camp?

If he or she is going to a ship, I'd suggest a very nice grooming kit. Make it small though so it's easily stored. Things of value tend to "disappear" on ships. Also, if it is a ship, you're very limited to the amount of things you can take.

my friend got a very nice grooming kit, says it is an invaluable resource on his ship. my cousin had a party thrown for him when he went on leave. they both enjoyed their gifts. so its whatever, because graduation from boot camp alone is a good enough gift for your Sailor

You can get the "mother of all Swiss Army knives" at Ebay for about $50

If he's going to be stuck on a ship, go with the army knife.  If he goes camping a lot, he'll love the chain saw.

Maybe a digital camera and you delivering it to him/her after you take pictures of the graduation ceremony, then when they go on leave or to their next school they can take pictures and share them with family and friends.

Then when they are underway they can look at the pictures and it will help them thru many long deployments or extended time away from home/family.

They could burn the pics to CD / DVD and have it forever...

I'm getting my boyfriend (who's in MCRD in San Diego currently) a Marine pocket watch for his graduation. Of course I'm going to treat him to a huge burger when he gets back, lol. He had to go on a diet to lose a lot of weight before he shipped *don't get me wrong, he wasn't fat. I loved him like he was, and I still do, so yeah*. Just something from the heart.  I added the link for the Navy pocket watch, they have one for each of the four main branches.
