Hotel Marian is about three blocks from the Termini.  It is a no frills hotel, but many of the rooms are recently romodeled.  It is pretty inexpensive and large for European standards.  It was clean and the staff pleasant enough.  I was in room 306 and it overlooked the piazza right across the street.  There are a ton of restaurants near by, but I recommend walking five or 6 blocks away.  There are a ton of small, local restaurants nestled in the side streets.
